We had a great year. Last year at this time, celebrating Christmas was the LAST thing on our mind. We were knee deep in bottles, diapers, spit-up and more.

This year we did it right with two happy, healthy babies, lots of presents, great food, family, singing and so much more.

We are so blessed and so thankful for everything we have…especially our two little ones.

We caught yet another one of Aidan’s milestones on video. Here he is taking his first steps…to get at my iPhone of course…hahaha. We couldn’t be any more proud and NERVOUS. Things will definitely be different once he’s walking but we’re up for the challenge!

I can’t believe how quickly this year went by…

Aidan is standing at 11 months. He’s been cruising for some time now but we discovered he could stand a few days ago. Here’s the video proof of this. He is so interested on what’s on TV, he forgotten that he’s nervous about standing. LOL. It usually doesn’t last this long if he doesn’t have something else to focus on.

Both the kids are so fun and full of personality these days. Here’s a video of Aidan having a grand ol’ time on the swings. Man, he really fills it up now.

I’m always looking for things to do with the kids. Something fun, outdoors and doesn’t cost money (since they’re too little to appreciate the things that do right now).

I found this GREAT website that was able to give me a list of parks if Irvine.

We celebrated our 6th anniversary tonight.

So much has changed. Last year we spent our 5th year together at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach since I was on hospital bedrest with the twins. This year, Steve and Jenny graciously volunteered to babysit while we went to have oysters at King’s Fish House. Of course, all we did was talk about the kids.

We had a small celebration with cake from Givral Bakery (where we got our wedding cake from) and champagne with Steve and Jenny at home. It was a great night.

Dear Aidan,

I know you have no idea why you cannot breathe, or sleep, or eat. I know you’re not clear why liquid keeps running down your nose and you keep coughing. It’s called a cold, son. The liquid shouldn’t bother you too much since you do that on your own from your mouth which prompts me and your dad to change out at least 5 bibs a day for you. You should be accustom to extra liquid dripping off your face. But I am so, so sorry you cannot sleep at night and that you have no idea why you’re so uncomfortable. All I can do is wake up and hold you every single time you wake up crying at night to tell me something is wrong.

If I could take it away, I would. But you need to get sick once in a while. This will only make you stronger.
