Merry Christmas!
I love Christmas. It has to be my favorite holiday. We ended the year with a family slideshow of everything we did as a family in 2004. (Would have saved it for New Years but we’re not sure if we’ll all be together for New Years) I’m so lucky to be part of a famiy that totally rocks! Good job, Ngos + Nguyens! :>>
On Christmas Day I spent the evening with the Lams. We had lots of fun, lose some money to Steve + ate a great dinner cooked by my very own Iron Chef Chinese American, Lam Geefon.
If you want to see more pictures , go visit my fellow paparazzi’s site, vanngo.net.
With that said, Happy Holidays everyone!

Spontaneous Dinner
Van & Bao came over for dinner after a long day of Christmas shopping. Bao got this great idea to call up Roger, so I did! :>> He came over and we ate dinner, watched Fear Factor “That’s so easy! I slide down the Luxor all the time!”|-| We looked at the cool pictures of Roger skydiving in Oahu and took some silly pictures of our own. It’s always fun hanging with Roger! It’s great to be neighbors. (Y)
Smarthome Holiday Party
Tonight was my company holiday party. I haven’t been working here for a long time, but the people are crazy cool and that makes working here such a joy. :D It’s kinda strange to put these pictures online since I didn’t give anybody at work the URL to my personal site. (And don’t really plan to.) Haha. But it’s okay. I’ll just let my family & friends enjoy them! ;)

Thanksgiving Weekdays.
This year Thanksgiving started early. I can write a lot or you can just look at pictures. Hahaha. I’m guessing everybody is more interested in pictures, so I’m going to save myself from a lot of writing. Here are the links:

Thanksgiving
From football, to crazy scavenger hunts to lots
& lots of turkey and a whole lot of lovin’

What am I thankful for this year? I am so grateful to be part of such a special family, married to a great husband, and surrounded by the best of friends. I live the good life and I don’t take any of it for granted.

The meaning of giving…
![]()
My friend, Roger, did the cutest thing.
He got a turkey and a giftcard to Albertsons for free this Thanksgiving. So what he did was went to his class (he’s a 4th grade teacher) and assigned a little writing project for them. He asked them if he was to give them a free turkey, would they keep it or give it to someone else and why? They all wrote a paper and a good percentage of them were … quoting Roger…crap :)) but there was one that stood out. A kid wrote about how he thinks he would keep the turkey since he feels that his family deserves it because they are so poor and have such a large family they can’t afford a Thanksgiving dinner.
Today Roger called that family in afterclass for an “emergency meeting” and gave the family the turkey and the giftcard. The father was so moved that he cried.
Doesn’t that just warm your heart? ;)
Happy Holidays! (L)
